Care & Maintenance

How Can I Clean My Rug?

Spot cleaning with soap and water is the best way to clean your rug. Make sure to let it air dry.

While its not recommended, machine washing your rug is also viable if you get a large mess on your rug. Just be sure to let it air dry.

What if some strands get longer than the rest?

If there happens to be yarn that are sticks out of your rug, avoid pulling them out, instead, cut them flush with the rug using a pair of scissors.

Why is my rug shedding?

This is very common for brand new handmade rugs. For the first month or so, your rug will shed small layers of yarn from time to time. You can usually just scoop it up with your hand or go over your rug with a vacuum to get rid of it.
